“Staff Professional Development in Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability”
ππ±Go Green pt. 3: 4th Primary School of Larissa
Our Research NGO continues to make a difference, this time at 4th Primary School of Larissa with an extraordinary environmental action as part of the EU project’s βStaff Professional Development in Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability-2022-1-EL01-KA122-ADU-000079565β dissemination framework!
We are thrilled to share the immense success of our recent initiative, where we collaborated with the school to raise awareness about climate change, food and water waste and management. In addition, we engaged students in a variety of exciting activities such as awareness role-plays for the environment, presentations, teamwork activities, storytelling and fun-filled games!
This event perfectly aligns with the objectives of the EU project, striving to promote sustainability and environmental consciousness among young minds.
Together, we educated students about the importance of reducing food and water waste, equipping them with practical strategies to make a positive impact. The enthusiasm and active participation displayed by the students were truly inspiring!
Through role-plays and presentations, we encouraged students to think critically about environmental challenges and climate change, and explore innovative solutions. Their creativity and passion left us in surprise!
In addition, the teamwork activities brought students together, fostering a sense of unity and shared responsibility for our planet. The storytelling session allowed them to express their thoughts, concerns, and hopes for the environment, amplifying their voices as advocates for positive change.
We have captured the incredible moments from this event in the following video.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the 4th Primary School of Larissa for their collaboration and dedication. Together, we are creating a generation of environmentally conscious individuals who will drive sustainable practices in the future!
Let’s continue spreading awareness about the importance of climate change, food and water waste management, nurturing a sustainable mindset in our communities. Every action counts, and together, we can make a lasting impact on our planet!
The event was coordinated by Mrs. Evangelia Vasileiou and Mrs. Athanasia Ntagoloudi.
