Mrs. Katerina Belogia holds a degree with honors in Applied Informatics from the Department of Applied Informatics of the University of Macedonia and a Master’s Degree in “Information Systems” from the Department of Informatics, School of Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
After completing the Annual Pedagogical Training Programme (EPPAIK) at the Higher School of Pedagogical and Technological Education (ASPAITE) in Volos during the academic year 2008-2009, she started her career as a substitute Informatics teacher in Primary Education. On 21/08/2017, she was appointed as a permanent teacher in the PE86 – Informatics branch within the Directorate of Primary Education of Fokida.
In 2019 she was seconded for two years to the Department of Informatics at the Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education (PDE) of Thessaly and in 2021, she was seconded to the Public Library “Konstantinos Koumas” in Larisa, where in addition to administrative duties she also provided IT (Software/Hardwate) support.
As an educator, she has actively participated in various extra-curricular school programs, including those related to Informatics, Environmental Education, Health Education, and Cultural Affairs. Additionally, she has been involved in student competitions and served as a member of the Organizing Committee at the Regional Directorate for Primary and Secondary Education of Thessaly, overseeing the implementation of European Erasmus+ Programs. She is proficient in English and Italian.
Mrs. Belogia is registered with the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP) and brings experience as an adult educator, having taught in diverse formal and non-formal adult education settings. She has entered the NGO SISERA Greece as a team member since November 2020.
