Our team recently completed the third mobility course in Barcelona, Spain for our Erasmus+ KA1 project, “Personal and Professional Development with Art as a Tool” (ID: 2023-1-EL01-KA122-ADU-000145161).

The course, titled “Traditional Arts and ICT Art Tools for Teaching Your Subjects and Promoting Life Skills,” was a valuable opportunity to learn how traditional and digital art techniques can be integrated into our teaching and training.

We developed practical skills in a range of creative techniques, from drawing and painting to AI-driven art tools. These new methods will make our teaching more dynamic and engaging, helping learners develop not just subject-specific knowledge but also essential life skills like creativity, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence.

The course also emphasized the growing role of digital technology in education. We worked with photography, stop-motion animation, and social media platforms like Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube to create more interactive and accessible educational content.

In addition, we focused on storytelling and expression through theater and creative writing. These activities underscored how art can be a powerful tool for building communication skills and confidence in both students and educators.

Towards the end of the course, we applied what we learned by designing our own educational projects. This was a crucial step in understanding how to effectively blend traditional and digital arts in our work.

Overall, this course has expanded our training toolkit and deepened our appreciation of art as a vital element in education. We look forward to applying these new approaches in our community and continue enhancing our work.
