SPACES OF PARTICIPATION

Erasmus+ Training Course in Greece

📍 Platamonas, Greece
📅 8–13 July 2026

How do we stay authentic in environments that constantly shape who we are?

Identity is often understood as something personal — something we discover, express, or build over time. At the same time, the way we understand ourselves is deeply influenced by the environments we grow up in, the people around us, and the social and cultural patterns we continuously experience.

“Spaces of Participation” is an Erasmus+ Training Course that explores culture, identity, communication, participation, and belonging through experiential learning and intercultural exchange. Rather than approaching these topics as abstract concepts, this training focuses on how they appear in everyday life:
through communication, habits, relationships, group dynamics, and the spaces we create together.

Participants will engage in a shared learning process based on:
✨ non-formal education
✨ reflection and peer learning
✨ experiential and creative activities
✨ group processes and intercultural dialogue
✨ observation of participation and communication dynamics

Together, we will explore questions such as:
• How do environments shape participation and belonging?
• How do misunderstandings emerge in communication?
• What influences the way we relate to others?
• How can we create more conscious and inclusive spaces?

The activity will take place in the beautiful seaside area of Platamonas, beneath Mount Olympus, offering participants the opportunity to combine meaningful learning with connection, reflection, nature, and the atmosphere of the Greek summer. ☀️🌊
